Slowly.. I’m running out of usable pallet lumber. I’m using a small wainscot buildout from the PO for the rear. And that’s the most painful part. The wall on the left has a higher ledge than the right. I can’t have an uneven corner. My OCD would keep me awake at night.
I may pull the left side away from the wall and just cut a filler for the gap. Still aggravating but not as much as an uneven benchtop.

Is it just an uneven ledge that’s messing with you? Or am I also seeing a gap between the counter tops, like the two walls aren’t 90° square?
The ledge shouldn’t be too hard to level out. Just find the highest point and shim the rest to match.

The gap is because of the bullnose on the countertop edge. The walls are shockingly square. Nothing else in this house is.
Im going to try shaving the wainscot a bit. 3/4" should get it right.

That should work. How much of a ledge is that wainscot giving you? Is it enough of a support?

The ledge is about 1". I’m blocking it too. It needs to hold a 3/4 assembled machine. Maybe 300lbs total.
If I can hop on top I’m calling it good.
